You are required to undertake a rapid assessment of the strategic situation and possible future direction for a case study business and submit a report outlining your assessment.

As this is intended as an extended take-home exam, you should not have prior knowledge of the exam focus. Therefore:

The case & the questions will be provided via Moodle one week before the due date.

Case study released:MONDAY 15th May 2023

Submission date:MONDAY 22nd May 2023

Word length: 2000 words (+/- 10%) excluding references and appendices.

This assignment requires you apply concepts, tools and understanding from across the module to produce a consultancy report assessing the case study.

You should apply learning from the module to develop your assessment of the case, and your report should evidence understanding of the concepts and approaches studied and the ability to apply these to the given case.

The key questions to focus on in writing your report will be provided in the case study.

In the weeks preceding this assessment there will be an opportunity to practice on a mock case study and get feedback on your practice approach.

General Guidance:

Citations and references should be provided using the Harvard style.

Non-essential material that helps to inform the case analysis, such as supplementary details from a PESTEL analysis, may be submitted in Appendices (this is not included in the wordcount).

Charts, diagrams and figures may all be used wherever appropriate to the points being made.

A title page, executive summary and table of contents should all be provided (not included in the wordcount).
