Description

This assessment task requires you to successfully complete the Safer Learners Module and upload a screenshot of the certificate or completion email along with a 100-word reflection on your knowledge regarding safer learners and how this applies to your professional practice. Please ensure you adhere to APA7 referencing style to correctly cite your references throughout the assessment task and provide a reference list if you are including any scholarly literature to support your reflection.

Your multimedia poster on ethical practice in digital communications must contain the following:

• A two-minute video recording uploaded to Panopto and embedded into the poster. In the video you are to describe principles of ethical communication practice and introduce at least one example of an ethical practice and one example of an unethical practice.


• A three-minute audio recording uploaded to SoundCloud and embedded into the poster. In the audio recording you are to analyse the unethical campaign, illustrating why it fails to meet the principles of ethical marketing.


• Text this can be a link to a pdf or Word document in which you provide a conclusion to your argument for ethical digital communication practice why its important and who its important for.


• Graphics/diagrams/illustrations that meaningfully support the key points of your argument.


• Links to the sources you cited

It is always a useful exercise to familiarise yourself with the criteria before completing any assessment task. Criteria act as a boundary around the task and help identify what assessors are looking for specifically in your submission. The criteria are drawn from the units learning outcomes ensuring they align with appropriate graduate attribute/s.

Identifying the standard you aim to achieve is also a useful strategy for success and to that end, familiarising yourself with the descriptor for that standard is highly recommended.

Students who submit their work by the due date will normally receive their marks and feedback on CloudDeakin within 15 working days after the submission date.

Submission

If the task has several parts or is a group assignment, you will need to provide explicit instructions for how you want the task to be submitted. Example 1: The group must submit one document into a group assignment drop box with all student names and IDs on the front page of the submission. Example 2: Each member of the group is to submit an individual copy of the assignment, perhaps indicating which part/s they worked on.

Make sure you upload your assessment file/s to the relevant assessment drop box on or before the due date to avoid any late penalties.

You must keep a backup copy of every assignment you submit, until the marked assignment has been returned to you. In the unlikely event that one of your assignments is misplaced, you will need to submit your backup copy.

Any work you submit may be checked by electronic or other means for the purposes of detecting collusion and/or plagiarism.
