Project 1
Develop a Project Schedule for your Home Improvement Project. Please review the reading assignments Schedule Baseline & Gantt Chart and Project Schedule Template for examples of how to organize your schedule. Everyone lives somewhere. Whether youre a homeowner or a renter, have you ever wanted to improve your home or apartment? A simple, yet comprehensive virtual project would be to plan just such a home improvement project. Again, you dont have to actually complete the project, just follow the steps of the course to develop the plan.
Some ideas for a project could be:

Project Post-Mortem
Develop a Post Mortem for your completed Home Improvement Project. Since you didnt have to actually COMPLETE the Home Improvement Project, please approach this assignment as if you DID complete the project and experienced a few problems along the way. For example, assume you had an issue with the supplier, or with the quality of the material, or a budget overrun. It isnt important that the issue be accurate, but that you learn the process of documenting what went well and how to improve for next time.
Please review the reading assignments Project Post Mortem & Knowledge Management for examples of how to organize your report. You do not have to follow any suggested format - it is more important that you adequately identify aspects of your project that went well, what could have gone better, and identify lessons learned that you can apply to your next project.

Final Project
Throughout this course, you have applied some of the tools of project management to develop a Project Schedule, a Budget, a Risk Register, and a Project Post Mortem. These important documents are small components that contribute to a larger project plan.
Each week you have analyzed your peers project documents and have also received valuable feedback to make improvements to your project plan. For your final project, you will revise and resubmit your Course Project assignments based on the feedback you have received.
Begin by reviewing the suggestions from your evaluators. Then, decide what you should revise. You will also be asked to reflect upon these revisions or suggestions. Be open to their suggestions, but perhaps you may disagree with your peers' analysis. That is ok. If you dont feel that their suggestion is appropriate to your project, provide justification in the summary.
It is also important to take some time to reflect upon what you have learned in this course. How will you apply the concepts to your current or future career? In this assignment you will also discuss your two key takeaways from the course. What has impacted you the most? What will you incorporate into your work or personal life?
