Different cultures must adhere to diverse rules for them to coexist peacefully. There must be no shirking of duty when following the rules. People of various backgrounds can live peacefully and harmoniously together if they adhere to diversity ideals (Berry& Ward, 2016). Coexistence amongst persons from different cultural backgrounds is vital if they are to share the same values. For many years, well-established diversity principles have served as a unifying force, bringing together people from all walks of life. Diverse opinions and contributions have been accommodated using principles of inclusion and tolerance for differences.

My entire learning experience Unit was fantastic. The experience of leading group activities and studying throughout the session was quite beneficial, as this knowledge is helpful in real life. Different issues were discussed in class, and everyone had different points of view to express. I have a thorough understanding of all of the topics covered in this course and can present my thoughts on any of them.

Cross-Cultural Communication Styles

Cross-cultural communication involves the utilization of team/group cultures, organizational cultures, and country cultures. In a low context culture, people from various backgrounds rely primarily on words to convey meaning (Markus,2014). Communication in high context culture relies heavily on nonverbal and verbal situational clues from people of diverse cultural backgrounds.

Contrary to common assumptions, my experiences in Australia with people from diverse ethnic origins have taught me that communicating across cultures is a challenging process. Cross-cultural communication is a multifaceted phenomenon, based on my extensive study of Australians from various cultural backgrounds and their behavior (Markus,2014). All forms of cross-cultural communication are made up of the same basic materials, which is surprising. Prejudices and attitudes are only a few factors that might influence nonverbal and verbal behavior and the way people communicate. It has become more accessible for people from different cultural backgrounds to communicate with one another (Omori, 2017).The enormous number of people from diverse backgrounds who live and work in Australia allowed me to see how they tried to adapt their attitudes to better communicate with people from other cultures.

The promotion of multiculturalism in Australia and other countries worldwide has been aided by cross-cultural communication (Sharipboevna&Kamola, 2021). The impact of cross-cultural discussion on multiculturalism may be seen from every viewpoint by anyone interested in diversity. Through cross-cultural communication, people from various cultural backgrounds have established and maintained relationships and exchanged ideas.Techniques are said to change depending on the reactions and context of the user. That suggests that the less-desirable ones may require more effort and power. Reflection on the multicultural classroom video was essential for the group activity.

Diversity and Inclusion Frameworks

Ethnicity, cultural diversity, and racism are examined in connection to diversity management in the topic. The topic highlights the importance of cultural diversity in the workplace and discusses cultural management challenges. It explains the concept of ethnicity and illustrates it with a variety of ethnic groups found in Australia. In addition, it discusses the significance of a diverse workforce, Australia's immigration policies, labor market challenges, and racism. It looks at ways to make the workplace more accepting for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Understandably, women and members of LGBTQ organizations confront several challenges at work that need to be addressed. When it comes to workplace sexism, legislation will not make a difference. In the workplace, there are various ways to deal with these issues. Although there is still a lot of work, workforce and family policies are the most effectiveresolution of these concerns. When the LGBTQ are allowed to be themselves in the workplace, the business case for women's participation and increased productivity becomes stronger.

The general public often misunderstands multiculturalism, especially those from diverse backgrounds (Smits,2011). It is possible to promote multiculturalism while preserving one's own cultural identity by adhering to the principles of cultural diversity (Kramar, 2012). Some of the diversity principles include respecting and recognizing the diversity of others, keeping confidentiality, being honest, embracing the cultures of various people, and assisting one another in every manner possible.Torres Strait Islander and Aboriginal people are the topicsthat aim to provide an understanding of the inclusion and diversity framework and identify the challenges that stand in the way of full inclusion for these groups.

The workplace management of Torres Islanders and Aboriginal peoples has not done enough to account for diversity inclusion. In an ideal world, the lecture would describe a variety of alternatives to solving the problems, such as strategies for reconciliation and frameworks for societal transformation. To achieve buy-in on the importance of diversity in the workplace, it becomes clear that a strong financial case is necessary. The presentation emphasizes the importance of thoroughly understanding an organization's problems and how to address them through audits and the participation of each individual. A video on the Australian dream was the focus of a group project.Diversity principles are essential to ensure that no cultural barriers exist when people from different backgrounds interact in different contexts and environments as they go about their daily lives (Kramar, 2012). Trust, information interchange, shared understanding, and cooperative decision-making has all improved due to the diversity principles.

From my interactions, I have found that diversity principles have played a vital part in developing respect and togetherness among people from different cultural backgroundsworking in Australia (Lin, 2020).We cannot underline the necessity of implementing diversity principles. It has been possible to achieve and maintain peaceful coexistence by following the ideals of diversity (Lin, 2020). Rather than simply aiming for equality and inclusion, Australia's diversity policies have gone above and beyond to foster an environment where individuals of all cultural backgrounds can live in harmony and work together in harmony. It is ideal if the significance of silence in cross-cultural communication is recognized and the connotations that come with it (Syed&Kramar,2010). A language is a potent tool for fostering or impeding diversity in management. Their origins must be discussed when explaining the meaning of specific expressions and words to others. Gender pronouns are also critical to understanding people's personalities.

Ethics is a broad phrase, and it varies significantly from one culture to the next. However, in every society, some acts are considered unethical. Organizations have been especially evolving in recent years, and employees have begun to publicly discuss their ethical rights at work. I have also noticed several unethical practices at work, where individuals occasionally speak up about them but remain silent for fear of losing their jobs or damaging their reputation. Organizations should, however, adhere to ethical practices to maintain workplace integrity, respect, and rules and support organizational ideals (Hurn& Tomalin,2013). I have had firsthand experience with unethical concerns at work, management, or leadership abuse. This unethical conduct is highly frequent in most firms, as executives and managers use their authority and position. They make them work long hours and put them under pressure. They set unattainable goals for their staff and punish them if they fail to meet them. Some managers practice taking credit for their employees' work to strengthen their standing within the firm. They may also accept inappropriate favors, gifts, or other rewards from their subordinates.

Conclusion

In conclusion, multiculturalism encompasses intercultural communication and the pursuit of multicultural principles. Multiculturalism is intrinsically related to diversity ideals and cross-cultural communication. It is vital to note that cross-cultural communication and diversity ethics play a significant role in promoting peace between people of different cultural backgrounds.
