  •  Describes the problem, who it affects and its impact with evidence 
  • Illustrates the problem with a story or example
  • Connects the issue to the audience’s values, concerns, self-interest 
  • Statement of position clearly articulated with rationale for position 
  • Clearly states what they want their target audience to do
  • Within time limit
  • Presentation style and effectiveness 

 

Students will need to submit the transcript of their Pitch (even if they don’t read it in their presentation) as well as their presentation slide(s)
