At present, work on energy consumption is topical, especially for African countries. Used by economic agents for their production activities and daily needs, electricity is an essential component of any nation’s development process. According to the international Energy Agency, there is a strong correlation between electricity consumption and the wealth of a country. This assignment aims at improving the learner’s knowledge of the electricity infrastructure in South Africa and the different methods that are used to produce this electricity.
With the help of up to date academic references (books, periodicals, engineering journals,…), the learners are required to develop and submit a min 6 page-max 10 page, (excluding cover, table of contents and bibliography pages) Word Processed typed assignment.
