Propose a Research Study: Design a research project to investigate a specific aspect of psychopathology. The final paper should demonstrate a deep understanding of the major psychological disorders covered in this course and apply this knowledge to propose a research study.
For example,
- Mindfulness for Panic Attacks: Design an experiment to compare the effectiveness of mindfulness meditation and traditional cognitive-behavioural therapy in reducing the frequency and intensity of panic attacks in adults. You could assess pre- and post-intervention anxiety levels, panic attack occurrences, and self-reported quality of life. Suggest treatment
plans for this concern using Art therapy.
Paper should include: 4-5 pages in length excluding references, title page with statement of academic integrity signed by the student, at least 3 references or required readings from the course, citations to references, reference list or previous research conducted on the same topic. Abstract is not required; levels of headings may be used. APA format must be used. The assignment should be typed and double-spaced. Include a cover page with your name, course details, and the title of the assignment.
