Look at the marking rubric - addressing your topic is only of the marks allocated.
Conclusion
Referencing and citation References and Citation
Using material without acknowledgment (referencing) is plagiarism (cheating), using other peoples material and referencing (saying where you got it) is good research!

Is the time added by Echo360 e.g., Curtin intro and copyright inclusive of the time-limit? No
What device should I use to record my video?
Any device that record video formats supported by Echo360. Visit https://learn.echo360.com/hc/en-us/articles/360035035852-Supported-Content-Formats for more information.
What editing software should I use to edit my video?
You can edit your video using any video editing software you wish. Some free packages you could consider are:
WondershareWindows Movie Maker
Have a look at this website for other ideas and a critique of free editing software: http://www.techradar.com/au/news/software/applications/best-free-video-editing-software-9-top-programs-you-should-download-1136264
I used a free editing package and it has placed a watermark on the final version of my video what do I do?
Nothing as long as your tutor can still see & hear what you have done through the water mark then you will not be penalised.
Will how to use the editing software be explained in class?
No. We do encourage you to use editing software as it is a useful skill but we cannot provide support for editing software. Sample videos are given to help you with presentation skills and to show you the benefits of editing, but it is up to you to learn how to use the software you choose.
How do I get help on using editing software?
Some material is provided in Blackboard and a demonstration is provided during the lecture but you will need to find other resources to help you. Depending on the software you have chosen to use there is usually learning videos and other resources available through YouTube, the product vendors website, or other internet sources.
How do I get help on the topic I have to present?
Your tutor will be able to help you with your topic. However, do not expect your tutor to do your research for you. Your tutor will be more helpful if you demonstrate you have made an effort to research your topic before you ask for help. At the University level you should be able to research a topic with minimal assistance from your tutor.
What help can I get to obtain good marks?
Use the marking rubric.
Meet the expectations of your tutor.
Good video and audio quality. Avoid using your hand-phone to record. Check the background, etc.
Answer the questions relevant to the topic. Research well.
This INDIVIDUAL assignment is worth 50% (STAGE 1 10% and STAGE 2 40%) of the final mark.

Assignment Theme Robotic Processing Automation (RPA)
Robotic Process Automation (RPA), often referred to as robotics or robots, is defined as the automation of rules-based processes with software that utilises the user interface and which can run on any software, including web-based applications, ERP systems and mainframe systems. (Deloitte 2018).

RPA is one area of digital transformation that currently impacts on the required skills and competencies of accountants and auditors.
Construct objective(s) of your assignment using the above theme (important note: your objectives should be different from your classmates). Discuss the skills and competencies that accountants and/or auditors required for digital transformation focussing on RPA. Your objectives must be supported by at least ten (10) journal articles. Please use the database PROQUEST found in the Curtin Library Information Systems which Curtin students can legally use.
In Stage 1 of your assignment, select at least ten (10) or more academic journal articles (ie not professional articles, book, webpages etc) to help you to construct an objective or objectives guided by the above theme. Then describe how the findings of your selected journal articles that you have selected will support your objective(s) or otherwise. Further, in Stage 1 of your assignment, describe what you need and how you would construct a video presentation In this STAGE, please focus on what you will use eg location, software, editing, subtitles and etc for the construction of the video in Stage 2 of the assignment.
The comments and/or issues given by the marker in your Stage 1 should be noted or remedied in order to get better marks for Stage 2. The same marker will mark both stages.
Succinctly, Stage 1 of the assignment is a proposal to complete Stage 2. In Stage 1, objectives are defined and journal/academic article abstracts and/or contents are used to justify how the objectives can be achieved.
In Stage 2, the journal articles in the reference list (you may add more journal articles and this is perfectly normal when doing research) are synthesized/dissertated and the facts are used to discussed how the objectives are achieved. Do NOT discuss one abstract at a time. The video presentation points out the main facts (from the journal articles) used to achieve the research objectives.
Please note that the effort you put in when finalising your journal articles in stage 1 will help you significantly when completing Stage 2. That is, stage 2 will depend on what you have discussed in stage 1 and finally, the video presentation is simply pointing out the main facts discussed in stage 2.
