PART 1: ESSAY WRITING

Cocurricular activities help in the holistic development of students and assist in developing critical skills and abilities to be successful and happy in the 21st Century life and workplaces. Therefore, the importance of cocurricular activities is immense during school education.

Based on the above scenario, you are required to do the following: 

  1. Identify 3-5 children among family members or friends’ children. Distribute the questionnaire (see Appendix A_KOKO & 4C). You can use Google Forms, WhatsApp, or other means to distribute the questionnaires.  
  2. Using semi-structured interviews, you are also required to interview two parents (among family members or friends) (see Appendix B). Analyse and report your findings. You can use phone calls, Google Meet, or other means to get the information. Use your creativity to carry out the activities in (a) and (b).
  3. Based on the interviews, which soft skills (4Cs: critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration) have been mastered by the students who regularly engage in cocurricular activities and why are these skills important for them to excel in life?
  4. What were the problems encountered, and how did the schools, teachers, and parents resolve those problems to ensure the success of co-curriculum implementation?

PART 2: ONLINE CLASS PARTICIPATION (OCP)

Discuss the following topics in the forum and submit proof of your participation in the online discussions:

(a) Reflect on your co-curricular activities in school. Share your experiences in the OCP. Were the activities well taught and did they change your physical activity literacy overall?

(b) If you were the subject panel for co-curricular activities, how would you make co-curricular activities more appealing to students?

TUJUAN:

Tujuan tugasan ini adalah untuk membolehkan murid-murid mengaplikasikan kemahiran komunikasi dan kepimpinan dalam projek or aktiviti dalam kokurikulum. 

BAHAGIAN 1: PENULISAN ESEI

Aktiviti kokurikulum membantu dalam pembangunan holistik murid-murid. Aktiviti ini juga dapat membantu membangunkan kemahiran dan kebolehan kritikal untuk berjaya dan bahagia dalam kehidupan dalam abad ke-21. Oleh itu, kepentingan aktiviti kokurikulum sangat besar semasa pendidikan sekolah.

Berdasarkan senario di atas, anda dikehendaki melaksanakan perkara berikut: 

(a) Kenal pasti 3-5 orang kanak-kanak atau remaja dalam kalangan ahli keluarga atau anak rakan anda. Edarkan soal selidik (Lampiran A_KOKO & 4C). Anda boleh gunakan Google Form, WhatsApp atau cara lain untuk mengedarkan soal selidik ini. 

(b) Anda juga dikehendaki mengadakan DUA temu bual (dalam kalangan ahli keluarga atau rakan) menggunakan soalan separa berstruktur (Lampiran B). Buat analisis dan laporkan dapatan anda. Anda boleh menggunakan panggilan telefon atau Google Meet atau cara lain untuk melaksanakan temu bual ini. Gunakan kreativiti anda bagi melaksanakan aktiviti (a) dan (b).

(d) Berdasarkan temu bual, apakah kemahiran insaniah (4K: pemikiran kritis, kreativiti, komunikasi, kolaboratif) yang telah dikuasai oleh pelajar yang kerap terlibat dalam kokurikulum dan mengapakah kemahiran ini penting bagi mereka untuk mencapai kejayaan dalam kehidupan?

(d) Apakah masalah yang dihadapi dan bagaimana masalah tersebut diselesaikan oleh pihak sekolah, guru dan ibu bapa untuk memastikan kejayaan pelaksanaan kokurikulum?

BAHAGIAN 2: PENYERTAAN KELAS DALAM TALIAN

Bincangkan topik berkenaan di dalam forum dan hantar bukti penglibatan forum dalam perbincangan dalam talian.

a. Renungkan aktiviti kokurikulum anda di sekolah. Kongsikan pengalaman anda dalam OCP. Adakah ia diajar dengan baik dan dapatkah ia mengubah literasi aktiviti fizikal anda secara keseluruhan? 

b. Jika anda merupakan guru panitia bagi aktiviti kokurikulum, bagaimanakah anda boleh menjadikan aktiviti kokurikulum lebih menarik kepada pelajar?
