General Instructions
This Project is an integrated assessment of the four units in the Cloud Module. It consists of
three parts, namely:
1. Design and build a resilient and scalable cloud-based web application
2. Design and build a web-scale microservice application
3. Develop cloud disaster recovery plans
In each part you are required to complete a written report.
In parts 1 & 2 you are required to implement an application on the AWS Cloud platform
You must successfully complete all reports and implementations to be deemed competent
in the unit of this module. Detailed requirements of the reports and implementation for
each part are described in the sections below.
Carefully read and follow the policies of ACS, including the plagiarism policy.

Reports
FORMAT OF REPORTS
The reports will be professionally presented using a word processor and be published as a
PDF file. They should include
• A title page with the following information
o Assessment name
o Document ID
o Student ID or Student Name
o Course ID
o Trainer and assessor name
o Version control table with a row for each version of the report including:
? Document Version number
? Description/Change made
? Date

• A Table of Contents referencing each of the sections of your report.
• You must include the following in the footer section of each page of the report:
o Student ID or Student Name
o Document ID
o Assessment name
o Page number.

Reports should be concise and not contain irrelevant information. You should use non-
discriminatory, gender-inclusive language.
