ITECH5500- Professional Research and Communication Report Assessment

Storytelling is the paramount feature of Indigenous culture as it is the main technique which their history has been documented. For millennia, First Nations’ history, educational stories, and the stories of country, innovation and institution have been passed down across the generations (QCAA, 2018). Today, the practice of storytelling supports communities, authenticates experiences, cultivates relationships and operates as a form of valuable cultural perpetuation for Indigenous peoples (Iseke, 2013).

Purpose:

The purpose of this assessment is to enable students to demonstrate a critical awareness of an IT innovation (i.e NFC technology, decision tree etc ) and how this innovation contributed to improving social and organizational systems

Requirements:

To work individually, submit a mini research report of around 500 words, and submit references in APA style.The report shall include the history, developments and applications for the selected innovation

The report should be well researched and written in accordance with APA referencing style.

2. Reports are to be submitted through Module submission link in size 12 Ariel Font and double-spaced. Your report should include a list of references used in the essay and a bibliography of the wider reading you have done to familiarize yourself on the topic.

3. A passing grade will be awarded to assignments adequately addressing all assessment criteria.

Higher grades require better quality and more effort. For example, a minimum is set on the wider reading required. A student reading vastly more than this minimum will be better prepared to discuss the issues in depth and consequently their report is likely to be of a higher quality. So before submitting, please read through the assessment criteria very carefully.
