Part A Proposal (Questioning & Predicting and Communicating)

Students will be required to plan a first-hand investigation that requires a ball or car and a ramp.

In the investigation, students will need to test one of the following questions: -

-Is the distance the ball travels directly proportional to the square of time if acceleration is uniform?

- Is the rate of acceleration proportional to the incline of the ramp?

- Will the ball reach the same velocity from a given height regardless of incline?

- Will the angle of the incline ramp affect the acceleration of the ball ?

Part B Performing the First Hand Investigation (Conducting Investigations)

Student must also provide a reference list using approved referencing style( Refer to the attached reference guide)

Part C Analysis (Communicating and Analysing Data & Information)

Students will need to utilise their method and results to answer examination style questions regarding the experiment and the collection of first hand and second hand data.
