Kinematics Motion Depth Study- Research and Report
Part A Proposal (Questioning & Predicting and Communicating)
Students will be required to plan a first-hand investigation that requires a ball or car and a ramp.
In the investigation, students will need to test one of the following questions: -
-Is the distance the ball travels directly proportional to the square of time if acceleration is uniform?
- Is the rate of acceleration proportional to the incline of the ramp?
- Will the ball reach the same velocity from a given height regardless of incline?
- Will the angle of the incline ramp affect the acceleration of the ball ?
Part B Performing the First Hand Investigation (Conducting Investigations)
Student must also provide a reference list using approved referencing style( Refer to the attached reference guide)
Part C Analysis (Communicating and Analysing Data & Information)
Students will need to utilise their method and results to answer examination style questions regarding the experiment and the collection of first hand and second hand data. Preaparation Students will be required to use information learnt during lessons and access reliable secondary sources for further information
