AI Use Statement (if applicable) |
Here are some questions to help you reflect on how you may have used generative AI or AI integrated tools:
- What specific tasks did you use AI for in your assessment?Which AI tools did you choose to use and why?
- How did the AI tool assist you in generating ideas, structuring your response, or refining your work?
- Did you encounter any challenges or limitations while using AI? How did you address them?
- Reflecting on your experience, how do you feel about the role of AI in academic work?
For example: I used generative AI to formulate the questions for reflection above. I used Microsoft Co-pilot, as this is licenced by UniSQ however other tools such as ChatGPT or Claude I imagine would have also worked for this purpose. I already had some idea of the types of questions I would like students to answer in their reflection, however Co-pilot provided more options that elaborated on what I already wanted to ask. The only challenge I encountered was having too many options then to present, which is where my professional expertise took place to make a judgement as to which questions would best suit the application. I feel a combination of excited but also somewhat scared of the implications of using AI tools in academic work.
