A. Assessment Task 1: Individual Assignment

Students will be assigned to do the following assignment:

1. Prepare a literature review

2. Students must select a topic related to delivery of customer value.

3. The topic must be approved by the module leader.

Literature Review format:

a. They must search for at least 15 reputable journal papers relating to delivering value to customers. The journals should cover different countries.

b. The content of the journal papers must be critically reviewed, discussed, and compared to find the similarity and differences of practices or strategies in delivering value to customers effectively.

c. The review or analysis is divided into 3 main subheadings: Introduction, body of discussion, and conclusion (with several mini subheadings, if applicable)

d. The length of the review paper is about 1500 +/- words, 1.5 spacing, Times Roman, font 12.

e. The assessment includes the title, presentable content structure, originality of work, in depth discussion, free of grammatical error, and apply the right formatting and referencing.

f. They must adhere to the Harvard referencing style.

g. The review must be submitted to Turnitin link provide in myTIMeS, and the plagiarism index is 20% or below, excluding references, cover, appendices.

B. Assessment Task 2: Group Project Assignment (40%)

1. Written Report (30%) – Marketing Plan Report (MPR)

Having conferred the prestigious MBA degree from Taylor's University, you have been employed as a consultant in a company. Due to reducing company performance, the Vice President (VP) of the Marketing Department has been under great pressure to improve the company's revenue and profit by the end of this year. He has come to you and asked you to prepare a marketing plan report that focuses on improving customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty by improving customer values processes and strategies to the targeted customers. The marketing plan report (MPR) must be completed in six (6) weeks and presented to the top management of the company.

Note:

You can choose any company, and the company of your choice can be a local or an international company with a website. The MPR can be conducted on the company, its product/services, or brand.

2. Group Oral Presentation (10%).

  •  Each group must summarize the marketing plan report- MPR (on a company, product/service, or brand) content.
  •  A group oral presentation must be prepared either using a prerecorded video, YouTube, or live presentation, within 20 minutes.
  •  All members must present their part. They will be assessed individually.
  •  Failure to participate in the presentation means the student will lose the 10% mark.
