Nursing NSQHS Standards and Nursing Care Clinical Handover Essay Assessment
Registered Nurses (RN) are required to use a number of thinking strategies and the best available evidence in making decisions in order to provide safe, quality nursing practice within person-centred and evidence-based frameworks to individuals/groups (NMBA, 2016). By complying with legislative, common law, policies, guidelines and other standards or requirements relevant to the context of practice, RNs are able to provide quality nursing practice.

These standards provide nationally consistent statements regarding the standard of care that consumers can expect from each health service.
