Part A: Literature search 

Step 1:

Identify the keywords and key terms for the literature search. To complete this section, you must use the prescribed three keywords and an additional three keywords of your choice. There is no limit to the number of keywords or terms that you may use. You must: use these three keywords: qualitative, nurse, cognitive impairment. select an additional three keywords as a minimum to help narrow your search. 

Step 2:

Undertake a literature search using academic databases to locate and identify at least eight peer-reviewed, academic research journal articles. The sources must meet the following requirements: recent (published within the past five years) from a peer-reviewed, academic journal must be a primary research article reporting results must be on the topic of your keyword and/or key term search terms. 

Step 3:

Describe your search strategy step-by-step so that the search can be replicated by another person—include inclusion, exclusion criteria and the journal ranking for the chosen articles. Step 4: Present the findings of your search using the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) template (DOCX 132 KB). Step 5:

Construct a full reference list using correct APA 7th style referencing for a minimum of eight research studies found in the literature search.

Part B: 

Annotated bibliography Prepare an annotated bibliography based on one of the eight journal articles you found in your literature search that is listed on your reference list. You are required to produce a summarized response that includes the following: 

Citation: Provide the full biographical citation of the article used for the summary. 

Main point: Provide a summary of the research study. Support: Identify and explain the findings and conclusions of this research study.

 Evaluation: Evaluate the main point or argument. What kind of contribution does it make to knowledge and scholarship? Reflection: Reflect on and explain how this article will assist nurses to ensure their practice is professional and responsible when adhering to digital health legislation, policy, ethics and professional conduct NMBA Codes and frameworks.
