1. Project Execution

1.1 Introduction

Start with a brief (about 1?2 to % of a page) introduction - format should be similar to the one you prepared for previous two tasks (2 and 3). The Section should be structured as under:

a. Start with a paragraph on the overall project

b. Follow it up with a paragraph on work carried out so for

c. Define execution in terms of project management phases/ stages in a project

d. Wind up the introduction with a closing paragraph

1.2 Execution

Provide detailed outline of the "Execution Plan". It should be a step-wise execution plan. Work through your WBS document and describe that how you are going to execute your project as planned. This is a detailed execution of the project plan. Describe / list any hurdles that you may face in carrying out the project as proposed. Prepare a network diagram using PDM technique (to be discussed in class).

1.3 Risk Analysis

Provide a detailed risk analysis. While it can be thoroughly detailed, you can limit your risk assessments to:

a. Internal threats to the project (you will need to think about it, and will need help from web resources and the Textbook).

b. External threats/risks (like competition, suppliers going out-of-business etc.).

c. How your team will address these risks? (This relates to preparing a "Risk Response Plan" for which you will need to carry out the research on web and go through Risk Management Chapter of the Textbook).

2. Project Close-out Document - Documentation of Lessons Learnt Only

For preparing Project Close-out document, keep in mind the following:

a. So for, whatever you have done and submitted to the sponsor is the work carried out prior to commencing the actual work.

b. Assume that you have carried out the work as planned. The technical aspects have been completed and the proposed upgrades / systems are now up and running.

3. Final Report and Presentation - Format and contents will be discussed in class
