Aims

The aims of this assignmentare for you to critique:

1. The context of philosophical, theoretical, and social foundations of knowledge as well as the ethical responsibilities of health researchers.
2. The concepts of data generation, data analysis and application of findings.

• Write an in-depth essay that demonstrates your understanding of methodology and health research ethics.
• Use a data base such as CINHAL to locate a research article of interest that has used a methodology (named approach, for example cross-sectional study, longitudinal study, phenomenology, narrative inquiry) to explore in-depth. Use of the SAGE Research database will expand your knowledge and aid your critique of your identified methodology
• Using an AI powered digital assistant, ask the following question and attach the reply as Appendix A:What is the most likely epistemological and ontological position of researchers that use the [insert method here] methodology.

The essay should include:

1. An explanation and critique of the researchmethodologyused.

4. A critique about how ethical principles for health researchers was upheld by the researchers.
