Task B instructionsABC Pty. Ltd. is based in Melbourne. It is a company in the manufacturing industry andits key product is sewing machines. ABC wants to automate its purchase and higher purchase operations. They want to have a solution for this problem comprising of hardware and software. You are the IT Solution Developer assigned to this task.
ABChas both retailers and direct customers, who can order in person in their outlet associated with the factory by phone, email or through the internet (website and other avenues such as Amazon or Ebay). Customers can pay by cheque, cash, or credit card for their orders. The packaging is done in the warehouse after manufacturing.The order dispatcher unit is responsible to receive orders, pack for the shipment and ship the product via their courier partners. Alternatively, the customer can directly purchase products from the outlet. The shipments can be for bulk orders or individual orders.
You are to select the right hardware, such as servers, any peripherals needed and the PCs for the end users. You need to select the operating system and application. You are proposing the solution for solving the problem and hence you need to make sure your solution is objective, cost effective and based on research to be fit for purpose along with your calculations, and justification.
