Your Task

You will be assessed on your knowledge of the material covered during workshops 1-4.

Assessment Description

The quiz will be conducted in class online during the workshop.

You are expected to complete the quiz using your own device.

The quiz is open book.

In an open-book quiz, you are evaluated on understanding and resourcefulness rather than memorisation.

Do not underestimate the preparation needed for an open-book quiz: your time will be limited, so the key is proper organisation in order to quickly find data, quotes, examples, and/or arguments to use in your answers.

Assessment Instructions

The quiz will consist of multiple-choice questions and/or short answer questions.

You will have 60 minutes to complete the quiz.

Your results will provide you with immediate feedback on how you are progressing.

There is only one opportunity to attempt the quiz, so it is imperative that you attend the class in order to attempt the quiz. Failure to attend the class and attempt the quiz will score you zero.

Prepare thoroughly by reading the Preparation Guide, which provides you with reference material each week.

You can also prepare by practising the pre-class and in-class questions beforehand and checking your answers for accuracy.
