Week 13: Definition of the Area of Study (1st of May to 5th May)
This week, you are asked to think about and carefully define the area of Research you would like to study in detail during the following weeks. Your Summative Dissertation, including all the steps from proposal to literature review, aim and objectives, methodology, data collection, analysis and discussion of the data will have to be based on the area of Research you have selected.
Week 14: Proposal (8th of May to 12th of May)
This week, please submit a Proposal for your Dissertation Project, that is based on the area of Research defined in Week 13.
Week 15: Literature Review (15th of May to 19th of May)
This week, a short draft of your literature review is due for a formative submission. The topic overview is a reminder of the important aspects of a literature review, aimed at assisting you in the preparation of your draft. Based on the feedback received from your tutor, you will be able to further enhance and expand your literature review, to provide a comprehensive account of the literature records relevant to your topic.
Week 16: Finalising the Research Aim, Objectives and Hypotheses (22nd of May to 26th of May)
This week, you are expected to make any necessary revisions or improvements on the aim, objectives and hypotheses of your research, and submit them in this week's formative task link. The feedback provided by your tutor on your proposal submission (Week 14) should be taken into account.
Week 17: Revising and finalising the Research Methodology (29th of May to 2nd of June)
This week, you are expected to finalise the methodology of your research, and submit them in this week's formative task link. Any relevant feedback provided by your tutor on your proposal submission (Week 14) relating to your research methodology should be taken into account.
Week 18: Secondary Data Collection (5th of June to 9th of June)
This week, you are expected to provide specific details regarding the collection of secondary data that you will be using in your Dissertation Thesis, in the form of a formative submission.
Week 19: Presentation of Results (12th of June to 16th of June)
This week you areexpected to carefully consider the order and way in which the data of your research will be presented, and submita representative sample of the data you have collected, presented in a way you consider the most suitable.
Week 20: Data Analysis and Discussion (19th of June to 23rd of June)
This week you are expected to initiate the analysis of the secondary data you have collected and a discussion of the results. A representative part of your analysis and discussion is due for submission, so that your tutor can provide you with feedback prior to completing your analysis and discussion.
Week 21: Conclusions and Recommendations (26th of June to 30th of June)
This week, please submit theConclusion of your Dissertation, Recommendations for future research and practical Implications for the industry as a formative task.
Week 22: Dissertation Draft Submission for General Feedback (3rd of July to 7th of July)
This week, you are expected to submit a draft of your Dissertation Thesis. This draft must include as many of therequired chapters as possible, as it is the final formative submission before your Summative Dissertation submission (due in Week 24). In the process of putting together your draft, you can collect and use the material you have submitted in the previous weeks' formative tasks, which correspond to the individual chapters of the Dissertation Thesis. In this regard, any feedback from your tutor on your previous formative submissions should be taken into consideration in order to improve your chapters.
Week 23: Presentation Preparation (10th of July to 14th of July)
This week, you are expected to prepare a draft of your Presentation. It is advised to include as many of the required slides as possible to receive more meaningful feedback from your tutor, before the submission of your Summative Presentation submission (due in Week 24). The Presentation of the process should clearly indicate the steps taken throughout your research, and clearly present the key findings of your project, among other important information.
