Health Promotion Education Session Identify one (1) culturally appropriate topic for a client health promotion education session that would address the identified health concern.
Identify a topic that would be appropriate to address the health concern
Make sure it is culturally appropriate (consider the patients culture)
Using Asthma as an example this would be something like: correct use of inhaled medication or how to manage an exacerbation of symptoms using an asthma management plan
Describe one specific, culturally appropriate health promotion activity that the RN could use to enable the client to modify/change their behaviour

Discuss how the education session could be structured including type of method/tool used, setting for the health promotion activity, resources needed and participants to be involved
Identify what tools you would use (see topics 2.2 and 2.3 on course site where several are listed)
