ASSESSMENT Overview
You will complete a reflection to demonstrate your understanding of three modules content and how it applies to your personal study practices and circumstances. This assessment aims to encourage self-awareness, critical thinking, and practical application of academic skills. The purpose of the task is to develop your ideas with knowledge gained from three modules (Modules 1.2, 1.3 and 2.1), reflecting on how it relates to your personal circumstances and applying the information to your own context.

Reflection on Module 1.2 (25 Marks)
Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of four key concepts within the module. Critically analyses one of the concepts and the applicability to their own academic development.
Reflection on Module 1.3 (25 Marks)
Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the different methods of notetaking. Succinctly identifies and justifies their preferred method of notetaking to support their own academic development
Reflection on Module 2.1 (25 Marks)
A comprehensive understanding of how information, credibility, and evaluation of sources contribute to support an academic argument. Succinctly analyses how the awareness of information sources will support their academic development.

Reflection on Module 1.2 (25 Marks)
Marking Criteria
Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of four key concepts within the module. Critically analyses one of the concepts and the applicability to their own academic development.

- take effective notes from classes and readings
- understand a variety of notetaking systems, and
- identify a notetaking system that works for you.

At the completion of this topic, you should be able to:
- understand various information sources and the role they play in society and towards your studies to support learning and assessment
- apply critical thinking and research skills to make informed decisions by using evaluation criteria, and
- introduce different types of information sources and the impact they have on credibility.
