Task instructions
Continuing with your dataset from Assessment 1, you need to investigate variables of your interest and find any interesting observations or patterns. Using Tableau or other data visualisation tool, generate tables or charts to describe your key variables in your data. You may use the following steps.
Select key variables that you want to investigate or talk about based on your business problem from Assessment 1, such as demographic or behavioural characteristics of customers, product usage, sales figures or trends, etc.
Generate tables or charts that best describe your variables of interest in Tableau or other data visualisation tool.
Export (worksheet, menu export image) the tables or charts that are relevant to your story. Copy them into a PowerPoint presentation. You may use (the attached template) the UTS template if you wish. This will help prepare you for your final presentation as you will potentially present some of these visuals / can continue to edit this template for your own use.
Write an introduction slide which summarises the problem and the questions this analysis is seeking to address.
Write a brief insight of approximately 25 words for each output slide and what it means for addressing your business problem / questions.
Note that this task is about descriptive analysis of your data. You do not need to run any predictive or sophisticated analytics to make recommendations just yet.
***If you need to change your dataset from Assessment 1, discuss this with your Subject coordinator.
