Using the information provided in Steps to Help Abused Children and with some further research on the services in your area specific to family violence, we would like you to create a leaflet/brochure that you are able to hand out to parents or teachers discussing how to recognise and assist a child subjected to domestic violence.
Input images and format the brochure/leaflet to look professional enough to hand out.
Discuss the indicators, signs and symptoms to look out for in children.
Discuss some statistics of children experiencing family violence and the impacts.
You can create a plan of action for a parent/teacher to seek help, intervene or communicate with the child.
List some services in your community that assists children and families in Domestic Violence situations.
