As a student teacher, I strive to provide the best care for our tmariki and whanau. Also, to be professional, show respect and demonstrate leadership.

I believe that as a teacher we play an important role in childrens lives as they do in ours. Also, I believe in the importance of role modelling and setting a good example for our tamariki, so they can learn and be the best they can be. As I will be professional and support their learning journey I will encourage our tamariki to explore their world. From my teaching experiences, I will provide the tools to inspire our children through passionate and professional teaching in a caring environment for the tamariki, parents and whanau.

As a role model for our tamariki the value of Manakitanga will be used in ensuring that every tamariki and their whanau will be welcomed with a big smile and respect filled with aroha. Manakitanga is all about encouraging, caring, and making a welcoming environment to meet the needs and wants of our tamariki. As a student I will use my values is to support and respect all tamariki.
