Task Description:


To complete this assessment successfully you are required to:


1. Apply the concepts of various CBT models to a client case study. This requires you to:


a) Develop an intervention plan based on conceptualisation of the clients case and specific collaborative goals for counselling.


b) Demonstrate how CBT treatment models (provided in class) may be used to address client concerns


2. Critically analyse the efficacy, strengths and weaknesses of each approach using recent scholarly literature.


Task Instructions:


This assignment should be presented in two parts.


Part 1: Client Intervention Plan is presented as a professional document / treatment plan. This section will utilise various diagrams and models that will be provided to you in class. This section will contain a mix of written expression, dot point and the use of tables/diagrams.


Part 2: Critical Analysis is presented in traditional academic essay format.


Your submitted assessment must include:


Use of a common font (e.g., 12-point Times New Roman or 10- point Arial), with double line spacing and the standard borders provided by Microsoft Word.


A title page with your name, student number, unit code and title,assessment number and title, the name of your lecturer, and total word count for the assessment.


In-text references and reference list for all sources, in APA format.



The assessment should be written in third-person tense adhering to formal professional style.
