EEE Proposal Form.
The form is intended only as a basis for discussion. The topic often changes when you come to do more intensive work on your subject. By filling in this form you are not committing yourself to following what it says.
The purpose of the form is to help clarify your thoughts, and to allow us to understand your initial aims, so we can help you. The more effort you put into filling in the form, the more you will benefit from Supervisors comments on it.
Unless Supervisor requests otherwise, submit your Proposal Form to your Supervisor in Week 3 or 4 of Semester 2; that is, by Fri-24-Feb 2023.
Supervisor will provide feedback within five working days (which usually means one calendar week) of receiving your form.

Draft Title. Unless the essay is for the Introductory Survey type, the title should be a question, on which you intend to make progress.
Description of your timeline for completing the Essay (100 200 words)
4-8 draft section headings, showing the structure of the essay. Try to make these helpful and interesting to the reader: not just Method, Data, Results. See Handbook 1, Section 5. Introduction.
(Sometimes Literature Survey but say what the Survey aims to achieve.)
(Final section is usually Conclusions.)
What particular problems can you see ahead in writing your essay? What progress have you made in accumulating the research materials (for instance journal articles, computer packages) you will need? Provide a properly-formatted list of 5-10 of the most important references, suitably cited (see Handbook 1, Section 11). Particular matters you would like to discuss?
