This assessment will enable you to use your research skills to research an Industry Professional within the field of Beauty and/or Aesthetics. Emphasis will be placed on the exploration of your chosen professional and an associated Industry Association or Industry Body that they are a part of.

You will identify different career pathways, qualifications and the foundational concepts of WH&S. You are required to showcase your research by creating a professional profile poster and in doing so, you will have a greater understanding of business attributes, philosophies, professional ethics and legislation within the Industry.

This assessment will help you to identify and appraise your personal digital capabilities in relation to professional requirements and ethical practice.

Task Instructions

You are required to build a poster using the provided guide and dot points below to assist:

• Research and identify an industry professional within the beauty and aesthetics industry using sites like LinkedIn or Instagram.
• Your poster will identify and discuss the professionals career pathways, their related qualifications, and any current professional development they are completing. Identify ways they have stayed current in the industry. If unable to locate this information, make 2 suggestions on how to stay current in the field of Beauty and Aesthetics.
• Do they have a YouTube channel which showcases their treatments? Do their treatment offerings meet the current industry trends and WH&S requirements? If the professional doesnt offer this, share 2 YouTube links that offer beauty, spa or dermal treatment videos i.e. https://www.youtube.com/user/dermalinstituteIDI .
