ABC Construction has been contracted to perform an audit of Fire Resistance Of CFA- Anglesea Fire Station (Class 9b building), or, any other Class 9b building as directed by your trainer. You as the Project Manager are to investigate and report on the buildings compliance with BCA/NCC requirements in respect of Fire Resistance (Section C only) of BCA/NCC. you are to assume the following:
The building permit has been issued
The building is occupied and a certificate of Occupancy has been issued
Tasks:
Create a Fire Resistance checklist comprising 13 items that you assess for compliance with the BCA requirements.
An additional 2 items must also include Exit Signs and Fire Hose Reels
Your checklist should have a total of 15 items
Only include Fire Resistance elements that are applicable (Section C only) NCC/BCA
Record your findings below and include four (4) photos to support your findings (maybe obtained from the Internet, but need to be relevant to your checklist)
Write a brief comment of your audit conclusions and state whether the building complies with BCA requirements.
Complete the four (4) tables below.
