Student Self-Assessment Summary
1. Identify at least one theme or pattern about yourself in each of the three categories and support your reflection with concrete examples. Include reference to your areas of strength and the areas you need to develop.
With my commitment to extensive and professional knowledge, I am looking into integrity related to general learning and the SSW profession. I have dedicated myself to considering that area where I have strength towards understanding and becoming an SSW professional. From the assessment checklist above, I believe that my areas of strength are in all patterns but most certainly section C. this section deals with relationships between integrity learning, SSW profession, dedication to professional and constant education. From section C, I believe my areas of strength include lifelong learning and vision. Therefore, I want to make sure that I maintain that and even improve further. I also happen to have other areas that need to be developed and make me achieve my full potential. These areas include acquired knowledge, theory & Practice, and online communication. I can only improve these areas through showing respect and determination and seeking guidance where necessary.
2a) Based on your reflections above, on a scale of 1 to 10 (with a 1 being not ready and a 10 meaning fully ready), how ready would you say you are for practicum? Overall Readiness Rating.
Based on the above reflection, on a scale of 1-10, my overall readiness rating for the practicum would be 5.
2b) Explain two (2) specific reasons to support your readiness score.
It is because my areas of strength and those that need improvement indicate that I am in the middle of progress and failure. If I am not careful and straightforward, I could lose the direction, but I can still find a way forward since there is room for change and improvement.
3. Have you read and signed the Confidentiality Form? Yes No
