The documentary explores the mental health experiences of Jeremy Oxley lead singer of the Sunnyboys. He was diagnosed with Schizophrenia when aged 22years old during the final years of the successful band. The documentary explores his 25 year experience with mental health through interviews with family, friends and Jeremy. The issues raised include:
Precursors of the experience of mental ill-health, especially history of trauma;
Day-to-day challenges of living with mental ill-health;
The co-occurrence of other problems or health conditions with the experience of mental ill-health;
The strengths that the person has identified to support themselves living with the experience of mental ill-health;
The recovery goals that the person identifies.
