Scenario
FARE has received funding of $6 million from the Tasmanian Government Department of Health to develop and implement a health promotion campaign. The campaign aligns with the Healthy Tasmania Strategic Plan, specifically focus area 7 Reducing alcohol harm.
The aims of the campaign are to:
- reduce risky alcohol use among people aged 45+ in Tasmania
- raise awareness of the National Health and Medical Research Councils Australian Guidelines to reduce health risks from drinking alcohol among people aged 45+ in Tasmania
- increase the number of Tasmanians who are aware of the health benefits of reducing their alcohol use
The campaign will launch on 3 July 2023, and run until 30 June 2026.

Task
