S2: Essay Format (2500 words)


You are expected to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of how your values could impact your professional judgement.


- Critically reflect and discuss some of the key principles in health and social care.



- Reflect on how your values and beliefs can impact practice and evaluate the role of Government policies/legislations to improve practice in the Health and Social Care sector.



- Highlight and discuss the challenges surrounding making Professional judgment on issues that impact your values and beliefs, and make suggestions/recommendations needed to address these challenges. Employ this to develop and support your line of argumentation.


- Explore your work-related experience in Health and Social care which could be very important for the good development of your analysis and resulting argumentation.



* The Assessment (S2) will be marked according to the marking criteria from Table below:


- Knowledge and Understanding (40%) of knowledge or skills of managing own values and beliefs guided by key principles in health and social care work setting.


- Presentation skills-style/structure (15%) to demonstrate how fluently content is expressed.



- Critical Reflection (30%) to show knowledge or quality of personal reflection in the context of own practice in health and social care.


- Referencing (15%): Accuracy and appropriateness of referencing throughout, the submission points is on FSB Connect via Turnitin, and the format is Microsoft Word.
