Students will report on a case study of aTravel andTourism, Accommodation or Hospitality (Food and Drinks) organisationof their choice. Our chosen organisation must have a website presence with substantial customer reviews. The presentation will cover the 4 main points and relevant sub-points as per the suggested framework detailed in theTask Requirementsbelow. You must participate and authenticate your identity during this not more than 10 minutes presentation.

Students will be presenting in the zoom class using PPT Slides and covering the aspects of presentation and co-relating the discussion by providing examples based on hands on experience and knowledge.

Before starting on the assignment,students will need to discuss their chosen organisation with their lecturer to ensurethere is no duplication. (subject to approval if any duplication)

Business selection will be complete onFIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. You are not allowed to prepare an assessment on any business to avoid duplication.

TASK REQUIREMENTS

1. The organisation to be used for the report must be agreed upon by the lecturer. After discussion with the lecturer, every student mustemail a written requestwith (1) the name of the organisation, and (2), their reason for choosing this organisation to the lecturer.

Due to convenience, it is expected that you will select the business as per your CHOICE, i.e.,you can

select a business from Australia or your home country.

2. The lecturer will reply to the email as confirmation of approval for the organisation being used in assignments 2 and 3.

An engaging, clear and concise report will be critical to attaining good marks. The analysis of the organisation must besupported with relevant quantitative data, websites and scholarly articlesto show a clear understanding and analysis of the relevant issues.

Task Description

a.This is an Individual written Assessment and its a continuation of yourassessment 2, on the same chosen business. You are not allowed to change any report business at this stage.

b.Based on the SWOT analysis, from the listed 6 weaknesses, identify three critical strategic issues relevant to the organisation. Marks are based on the strength of the argument concerning the criticality of the two business issues, i.e., why are these issues critical to the chosen business?

c.In the next part, the student will work creatively to suggest optimal solutions for the three issues identified in the previous section of this report. These solutions should be briefly explained: not just as bullet points.

d.The Student will then select three solution for each of the three issues and justify why the solution is strategic to the organisation and explain its implementation and implications for the brand image of the organisation and the companys triple-bottom-line (profit, social, environment).

e.The students need to explain practical application of the innovative idea/solution with example.
