Theories and Knowledges for Social Work Assessment
Select two contrasting theories used by social workers, as discussed in class.
- Describe each theory (about 500 words)
- Criticall yexamine their cultural and epistemological assumptions (about 500 words)
- Discuss the implications of these two theories for social work practice (about 500 words)

-Use at least three references from the reading list in your essay. Word Limit Requirements:
-Your essay should not exceed 1500 words in length including titles, subheadings and in-text citations, but not including the reference list. It is not acceptable to be 10% above the word limit.
-Students must provide an accurate word count at the end of their reflection (before the reference list).
-Any text over the word limit will not be read by the marker and will not be taken into consideration while marking the essay.
