Task Description
Your task for this assessment will be to design a simple non-interactive prototype website for a futuristic drink, snack, or activity. The product MUST reflect something you might think will or could exist in the future. It does not have to be real – only imagined. You are asked to be as creative as possible.
You will use tools, such as GIMP or Adobe Photoshop, to create an interface design for a 3-page website that will showcase your product on a mobile device such as a mobile phone. Your design should consider using the recommended pages outlined in this document. You will use UX principles in the design of your product.
You will also write a reflective report on your experience in using the graphics editor to complete the assessment tasks.
This assignment involves three (3) main parts:
- A reflective report of at least 1000 words discussing the following:
- A brief outline of the aim or goal of your website and your potential audience
- a thorough explanation of how you have utilized tools and media assets as well as how you applied design skills and principles to improve user experience for your prototype website
- in 50 words or less, your user experience in using the graphic editor (GIMP/Adobe Photoshop) software.
- A design-style tile that represents the overall analysis of your prototype proposal.
- A GIMP/Adobe Photoshop project that demonstrates three (3) pages for your product. The 3 pages are Home, Shop or (Order), and Contact Us, with contents specified below.
