Assessor Instructions Prior to assessment please ensure you check ID. You will need to inform students that there are 2 assessments. One will be written assessment and the other will be demonstration. For the written assessment you will need to let them know that they are required to complete the following written assessment task. Explain the instructions as follows: This is an individual assessment, but they can use their notes to assist. They will be given 1.30 minutes to complete 37 short answer questions. All questions will need to answered correctly be deemed satisfactory in this task. For the second instrument (demonstration )you will need to read those instructions, as follows: Candidates will be required to demonstrate their ability to complete practical demonstration of moving boxes to the store room with a trolley and putting them on top shelves using a ladder following the organisation's policies/procedures on manual handling procedures and work instructions for minimising manual handling risk They will be provided 10 minutes to complete this task. Benchmark: They will need to address all of the criteria in the checklist below to be satisfactory in this task. One will be written and the other will be demonstration. Students will be informed that Reasonable adjustment is available and that the assessment process can be adjusted, where reasonable. If they have a particular need which may impact the assessment process, they should please alert the assessor. Recognition of prior learning is also available. Students to please alert your assessor if you feel this applies to you. The appeals process must be explained to students. Students would be instructed to approach the assessor if they disagree with the outcome of the assessment. Or they can access our appeals and grievance policy on line. To the assesors knowledge, no students have identified any special needs that require adjustment in these assessments. |
