Introduction

I am pleased to introduce myself as ----, a permanent resident of India, currently residing in Sydney, Australia.

As my academic background I have done my senior secondary education in 2019 in Punjab, India. After completed senior secondary (+2) I chose to come to Australia for my further study. I am currently studying at Australian National Institute of Education (ANIE). Australia. I have completed all the units of Certificate IV in commercial cookery and have just submitted the logbook for review. I am enrolled to study diploma of hospitality management and graduate diploma of management now.

Reason for choosing to study Diploma of Hospitality Management

Cooking in commercial setup is unlike cooking in own kitchen. It includes time management, leadership and teamwork. There are lots of opportunities in Diploma of Hospitality Management. Moreover, I have interest in cooking and making different dishes. I am hopeful that this qualification will allow my dreams to come into reality. Certificate 4 in commercial cookery and diploma of hospitality management will lead me to my dream pathway and help me to become a successful Chef or hospitality entrepreneur with the information of different food.

Future plan and incentive to go back to my country

With my qualification in cookery and hospitality management, I am sure to get ample of opportunities to build a great career in my home country India. It is a well-known fact that India is a huge country that comprises of people from different faiths and regions that follow a multitude of traditions, cultures, and practices. The diversity also comes with different varieties of cuisines. A lot of them have already been explored and loved by the whole world and a lot of them are yet to be explored. India is also a country with huge scope in hospitality. I want to be part of this exploration and develop my career in cookery and hospitality management in my country. I can easily get jobs in managerial roles in hospitality industry in India after completion of my course. I will have practical knowledge of kitchen, cookery and be able to manage my section of job. Hence, I can get opportunities in the posts like kitchen manager or head chef in reputed restaurants in the country. I will gain experience by first working in smaller restaurants first and then make my way to the 4-star and 5-star hotels.

My family has been my strength through out my life. Because of their support, I was able to make this life changing decision of coming to Australia for my further studies. My father has always been financially prepared for all mine and my brothers needs. They were very happy for me when I told them about my wish to study in Australia. But my father had clearly instructed me to be back as soon as I finish my study as I am their only daughter, and he loves me dearly. He calls me regularly to ask about my day and how my study is going. I can see how patient he is acting as he misses me so much but also wants me to get an international degree. So, I must go back to my country to my family after I finish my study. I want to be able to shower them with all my love and spoil them like they do.

Financial capacity

My family has always been supportive of all my decisions in every step of life. My father works hard to fulfil all our dream. He had been saving for our future from the very beginning and hence has enough amount of money to cover my study fees and expenses here in Australia. Please refer to the financial documents attached with my application.
