The capillary flow, which is formed owing to the features of the chanhel surface and its contact with the fluid, drives passive self-separation devices. Passive plasma separation methods, as opposed to active plasma separation techniques, are more commonly used in micro fluid platforms due to their ease of construction, portability, and us er-friendliness.
